A media statement said Fly91 will add two new daily routes connecting Mangaluru with Agatti and Pune. Air India Express will operate thrice weekly to Hyderabad.

IndiGo will strengthen its presence on key metro routes with additional frequencies to Mumbai, while Air India Express will enhance connectivity to Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

On the international front, Air India Express will restart flights to Kuwait and add Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE as a new sector from Mangaluru. The airline will also increase frequencies to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Dubai.
