Navaratri celebrations began with religious fervour at temples across Mangaluru and its outskirts on Sunday, including the Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple, renowned for Mangaluru Dasara and the historic Sri Mangaladevi Temple.

At the Kudroli temple, the festivities commenced with religious and Vedic rituals, including Ganapathi Puja, Punyahavachana, Kalasha Pratishtapana, Kopparige Muhurtha and Devi Parayana.
