27-year-old Anisha said she has was a resident of Moodushedde, under Moodbidri Assembly Constituency, and that she had been residing in her parents house in Moodushedde since four years when her husband shifted to Saudi Arabia for work. She had voted in Moodbidri Assembly Assembly Constituency in the 2023 Assembly election. Her name and that of her sister Ayesa Banu’s name were in the draft electoral roll in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision.

Following which the Kavoor police filed a case against Kishan, Ritesh, Yuvaraj and B. Shashikala.

Dakshina Kannada District Congress president R. Padmaraj, addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, said the 19 Form 7/Form 8 examined by the DEO were genuine.
