Religious programmes will begin on October 11 with homa and with the installation of Goddess Sharada and the Navadurgas at noon. Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will inaugurate the Dasara celebrations at 6.30 pm on October 12.
Grand procession of the Dasara will be held on October 21 at 4 pm.

A palace-style darbar hall has been arranged at the temple, where idols of Sri Mahaganapathi, Adishakti, Navadurgas and Goddess Sharada will be installed and worshipped.
